Horst Castle

Horst Castle is located in the district of the same name in Gelsenkirchen and is an important Renaissance castle from the 16th century.

In the 1980s, Horst Castle was extensively renovated and an annex was added. Since then, the Horst Castöe has served as a museum, restaurant, registry office and event venue and is known nationwide. In the meantime, Horst Castle has been included in the list of monuments of Gelsenkirchen.
